Both Stagecoach and First have been investing in Devon in recent years. The latest Stagecoach Devon route to benefit is the Exeter to Newton Abbot coastal service, now re-branded as "go2". Above: Stagecoach Devon 19324 (WA08NPC), a standard group Dennis Enviro 400, is seen here in Teignmouth heading for Exeter. First equally has upgraded two of its local express services for the second time in almost as many years. Above left: First Hants & Dorset 37854 (HX08DHG), one of seven Wright bodied Volvos, is seen at Newton Poppleford. These replaced East Lancs bodied Scanias on the Jurassic Coast X53 service from Bournemouth to Exeter. Left: First Devon & Cornwall now operate three Dennis Enviros, including 33421 (WA08MVF) seen at Exeter St. Davids station, on the X9 route from Exeter to Bude. These replaced accessible Volvo/Plaxton coaches.
