The Omnicity double decker from Poland is gradually finding its feet in the UK bus market.    Recent deliveries include (clockwise): National Express West Midlands, Anglian Buses of Norfolk, Thames Travel based in Wallingford, Oxfordshire and Reading Buses with a large batch of ethanol fuel vehicles.

  • National Express West Midlands 4781 (BV57XLC), one of five such vehicles, making a surprise visit to Birmingham's temporary National Express coach station in Birmingham in August 2008.   This vehicle was re-registered BU08DYB in October 2008.
  • Anglian Buses AO57HCC in Great Yarmouth bus station in July 2008.   Anglian are competing with First Eastern Counties between Norwich and Lowestoft.
  • Thames Travel placed three OmniCity double deckers in service in 2008.   Their 508 (OU08HGN) is seen leaving Reading railway station bound for Oxford in July 2008.
  • Reading Buses has placed a batch of 14 ethanol fuelled vehicles on the high profile (17) route which is now a 24 hour service.   1103 (YN08MKP) is seen turning at The Three Tuns pub in July 2008.
