Photo Facts (Top to Bottom)
  • First Berkshire gave up operation of routes in Bracknell in 2015 with most services now being operated by Courtney.   However Stagecoach were awarded the 194 route to Camberley and in response Courtney now also operate a similar route.   Courtney whose YJ62FLD, an Optare Versa formerly a demonstrator with First and Stagecoach 34634 (GX54DWD), an ADL bodied Dart are seen nose to tail in Great Hollands, Bracknell in September 2015.
  • As part of First's withdrawal, Reading Buses now run the service to Bracknell and have Re-branded it as the 4/X4 Lion Route.  Refurbished hybrid Enviro400's such as 211 (SN11BVS) seen in the bus station in September 2015 operate the service.
  • Reading trialled new Routemaster 105 (LTZ1586) from Arriva London in August 2015.
  • Reading 420 (YR13PNF), a Scania/Enviro300G, seen at the depot in August 2015.   It is painted in special livery to commemorate its world land speed record for a bus.
  • First introduced a new livery for the long-standing rail link service from Reading to Heathrow Airport, as seen on 20611 (LK07CDE), a Plaxton/Volvo, in September 2015.   The in-house First branding team have obviously had no hand in this branding.
  • After years of battling with the known flooding issue at the Showcase Cinema, Reading built a new park and ride site adjacent to Winnersh Triangle rail station.   Reading 653 (YX64VLW), an Enviro200, is seen arriving at the new site in December 2015.
