| McEwan of Amisfield runs a considerable
number of local and tendered services around Dumfries. They
also are the main operator on the 500 Stranraer to Dumfries
route. Formerly this route was run by Western's Dumfries and
Stranraer depots. Seen here in August 2000 are L670PWT,
a MAN/Optare, at Dashwood Square in Newton Stewart and M211YAS,
a Mercedes/Optare, at the former Seacat terminal in Stranraer. |
