BSD857T
Another Stranraer
survivor |
SS2857
(BSD857T), one of a batch of seven vehicles that started their lives at
Stranraer in 1979, has just been bought for preservation. The BSD-T
batch of Seddons were the last Western Y-types to be delivered in
traditional black/white livery. They were soon painted into
red/cream livery and had Scottish saltire fleetnames applied.
BSD857T along with BSD854T and BSD855T moved to Greenock in 1985, and
became a Clydeside vehicle later that year. It subsequently
served with Midland at its Linlithgow depot and possibly Highland before
ending its days with Rapson of Brora. |
