In response Stagecoach, who
own SWT, drafted in over 100 buses to assist with rail replacement
services. On the third
and final strike on 28/29 January, a published timetable of 12 services
was operated to as far afield as Weymouth and Exeter.

More locals routes were covered
as well, such as the one featured here between Reading and Ascot. |
